Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Firewall Engineer


  • Meet all contractual metrics such as SLAs, Project work, Reporting etc.

  • Provide End user and Infrastructure Management Proficiency leadership and Manage Daily work, issues and resolutions, Act as a point of escalation and resolution.

  • Configuring firewalls to maximize network efficiency and security.

  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting

  • Provide critical thinking to sophisticated problems in a 24/7, critical network environment.

  • Process, monitor and prioritize trouble tickets.

  • Automate the tasks, which should be automated.

  • Provide support and administration of customer firewalls and security appliances.

  • Arranging scheduled upgrades

  • Investigating faults in the network

  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders

  • Troubleshoots network problems.

  • IP address auditing.

  • Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.

  • Defines, documents, and enforces system standards.

  • Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.


Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

  • Network fundamentals - TCP / IP

  • Experience in supporting Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, FortiGATE and ASA

  • Knowledge on ITIL procedures

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

.Bachelor&rsquos degree in IS, Computer Science, MIS Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience needed.

.Relevant years of experience as a Major/Critical Incident Manager.

.Should have knowledge of Network/Servers/Telephony/Cloud.

.ITIL Trained, Tested and Certified. (ITIL Foundation Certified)

.Working Experience of Service Now (Ticketing tool)

.Excellent English communication skills (written and oral), with experience interacting with all levels of management both within Company and Customer organizations.

.Excellent knowledge, experience, and excellence within the specific area of Major Incident Management

.Wireshark - packet capture and analysis of the captures


  • Firewall management platform JUNOS Space or Palo Alto Panorama.

  • Load balancer - Netscaler
