Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Requirement Elicitation & Management:
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders (clinical, operational, and technical) to define and prioritize complex business requirements, especially those related to healthcare regulatory compliance, clinical workflows, payer/provider systems, and Electronic Health Records (EHR) integration.
  • Translate high-level business goals into detailed, actionable functional and non-functional specifications (e.g., User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, Wireframes).
  • Manage the requirements lifecycle, ensuring traceability from initial concept through to final delivery and testing.
  • Solution Design & Partnership:
  • Act as the critical liaison between business units and development/data teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Data Engineers to design and validate data-driven solutions that optimize healthcare outcomes and operations.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions for feasibility, impact, and alignment with organizational strategic goals and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
  • Data Analysis & Modeling:
  • Mandatory: Apply strong analytical skills to large, complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement or new feature development.
  • Define data requirements, data flow diagrams, and contribute to the logical data model, particularly for data warehousing, BI, and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who can use SQL, Python, or R for advanced data profiling and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Leadership & Quality Assurance:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts and cross-functional team members.
  • Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies (e.g., UAT plans, test cases) to ensure the final product meets the defined business needs and quality standards.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained and standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage change requests, assessing their impact on scope, timeline, and cost.
