Job purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to join our team to support Apex Production environment with BAU operations and issue investigation. You will utilize your application support skills to perform business-critical operations including backoffice processing and issue investigation & resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Perform end-of-day operations including pricing and merchant payouts
- Install and configure application for new projects
- Assist in smooth execution of UAT.
- Able to triage issues escalated by call desk or received as system alerts
- Capable of diagnosing the issue and taking remedial action within SLAs
- Able to close each ticket with complete details including timeline, impact and remediation for future reference
- Help and mentor other team-members
- Have good communication skills to be able to interact within or outside the company effectively when working on an issue.
- Willing to work on a shift-based rota including night hours and weekends.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on application support experience
- Bachelors or above degree in Computer Science.
Knowledge & Skills level of presence in the job (High/Medium/Low)
- Experience with Apex Clearing & Merchant (Highly Desirable)
- Knowledge of Pricing and Payout in within merchant acquiring landscape (High)
- Hand-on experience with SQL queries (High)
- Hand-on experience with Linux and Bash Scripts (High)
- Ability to browse through application log files and exceptions (High)
- Core Skills: Problem-solving ability (High), Result Orientation (High), Accountability (High) and Proficiency in managing external relationships (Medium).
- Domain: SQL Skill (High)
- Market and Industry knowledge of the Payment industry especially Acquiring domain (High)
Work Conditions:
- Working Days: 5 working days per week
- Shift-based : Mutually agreed to cover weekdays and weekends
- Days Off: 2 days off per week
