Job Profile:

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Lead Finance Analyst to join our Sales Finance team. The role involves partnering closely with Sales leadership, Revenue Operations, Procurement, and Finance leadership to deliver actionable insights, evaluate vendor commercial performance, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets, has strong business acumen, and brings experience in SaaS-based financial analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Revenue Performance Analysis

  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of regional and segment-level P&L, highlighting emerging trends and drivers.
  • Monitor key SaaS KPIs, including NRR, churn, pipeline progress, and new bookings, and provide actionable insights.
  • Perform monthly revenue and cost variance analysis against plan, forecast, and prior periods.

2. Sales Productivity & Pipeline Insights

  • Partner with the Revenue Operations team to analyse sales rep productivity, quota attainment, segment-level performance, and pipeline conversion metrics.
  • Provide insights that support sales leadership in forecasting and performance management.

3. Sales Incentive Operations

  • Support end-to-end sales incentive processes, including:
  • Policy review and alignment
  • Performance tracking
  • Payout calculations and audit checks
  • Ensure incentive programs are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

4. Commercial & Vendor Contract Review

  • Partner with the Procurement team to validate contract commercial terms.
  • Review pricing, terms, budget alignment, and vendor financial evaluation to ensure financial discipline.

5. Budgeting & Spend Governance

  • Track and monitor budget utilization for Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Participate in the annual planning and budgeting, providing input and analysis to ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Highlight risks, deviations, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required.

Skills and Expertise Required:

  • Qualified MBA / CA with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, or Business Finance
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and financial modeling
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight timelines.
