Lathe Machine Operator / Keyway Machine Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lathe Machine Operator / Keyway Machine Operator to join our production team. In this dual role, you will interpret engineering blueprints to set up and operate both manual/CNC lathe machines and specialized keyway slotting machinery. Your primary focus will be shaping metal workpieces and cutting critical internal slots to exact technical specifications

Machine Setup: Mount, align, and secure workpieces and cutting tools into lathe chucks or keyway broaching fixtures.

Precision Machining: Perform lathe operations including turning, facing, boring, drilling, and threading.

Keyway Slotting: Operate keyway cutters, broaching machines, or slotters to cut internal pathways into hubs and shafts.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and translate technical engineering drawings, tolerances, and geometric dimensioning (GD&T).

Quality Inspection: Verify finished component dimensions using micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial indicators.

Machine Maintenance: Clean debris, remove metal chips, and replenish lubricants or coolants daily.
