Role Description The Landscape Architect role at Prolific Designs is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. In this role, the professional will develop landscape concepts and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and public spaces, ensuring alignment with project requirements and site context. Day-to-day tasks include preparing master plans, planting plans, and construction drawings, coordinating with architects, consultants, and vendors, and conducting site visits to oversee implementation and quality. The role involves analyzing site conditions, selecting appropriate plant species and materials, and integrating sustainable design principles. The Landscape Architect will collaborate closely with the design team, participate in client presentations, and help refine designs through feedback and technical input.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed, buildable plans.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscape Planning and Landscaping, including site analysis, layout development, and integration of hardscape and softscape elements.
- Candidates should possess skills in developing Planting Plans, including plant selection, composition, and understanding of local climate and maintenance needs.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp,or similar), and familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Photoshop, Lumion) is beneficial.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field, with relevant internship or professional experience.
- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present design ideas clearly to clients and colleagues, and manage project timelines.
- Knowledge of sustainable and climate-responsive design practices, local regulations, and site planning standards is an advantage.
