The HR Analytics professional will be responsible for driving workforce insights, payroll analytics, compliance reporting, and HR data governance to support strategic and operational decision-making. The role will partner closely with Payroll, HR Operations, Compliance, Finance, HRBP teams, and business leaders to develop dashboards, analyze workforce trends, ensure statutory compliance reporting, and enhance HR processes through data-driven recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Analytics & Workforce Insights
• Develop and maintain HR dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports.
• Analyze workforce trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual HR MIS reports.
• Conduct predictive and trend analysis to support talent planning and retention strategies.
• Present analytical findings to HR and business leadership.
Payroll Analytics & Governance
• Manage payroll-related data analysis including
• Validate payroll data through audits and exception reporting.
• Monitor payroll KPIs and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and workforce cost planning activities.
• Conduct compensation benchmarking and salary analytics.
Compliance Analytics & Reporting
• Track statutory compliance metrics across: EPF/ ESIC/ Gratuity / Labour welfare requirements
• Prepare compliance dashboards and audit-ready reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing analytical insights and documentation.
• Monitor compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational policies through periodic reporting.
HR Systems & Data Management
• Maintain HR data accuracy and governance standards across HRMS and payroll systems.
• Collaborate with HRIS teams on automation initiatives and dashboard development.
• Build Power BI/Tableau reports for workforce and payroll decision support.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.
• Drive process automation to improve reporting efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Compliance, Finance, and business leaders.
• Provide data-backed recommendations on workforce planning and operational efficiency.
• Respond to management requests for ad-hoc analysis and presentations.
• Support leadership reviews with meaningful insights and storytelling through data.
Education
• MBA/PGDM in HR, Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or related discipline or bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Commerce preferred.
Experience
• 4–8 years of experience working in a payroll and compliance-driven HR environment preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas)
• Power BI/Tableau/Qlik Sense
• HRMS Systems (Workday, Darwinbox, SAP, Oracle HCM, SuccessFactors, etc.)
• Payroll systems exposure
• Strong reporting and dashboard development capabilities and knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
