Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Support Engineer with a strong background in Java backend development with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a background in debugging applications developed specifically with Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, and API integrations. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in a night shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot logs to fix or escalate to the L3 developer if there are any errors/issues.
- Provide technical support for backend systems developed using Java and Spring Boot.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, including software bugs, configuration issues
- Work with Customer support team and resolve issues
- Monitor/Manage Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging.
- Troubleshoot SQL/ NoSQL Data issues
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Along with previous L2 support, L3 support knowledge or experience and 1 or 2 years of Java development are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in SQL and NOSQL database design/management.
- Experience with Kafka for data streaming and messaging.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
