Responsibilities: 1. Client Onboarding and Renewal: Perform onboarding and renewal processes for complex institutional clients, including collecting and verifying KYC documentation.
2. Compliance and Risk Assessment: Identify and escalate blockages in the KYC process related to systems, processes, compliance content, etc. Support risk assessments related to due diligence processes, including adverse media, sanctions, PEP links, and nesting scenarios.
3. Documentation Review: Review client documentation to ensure correctness and completeness. Scan, upload, and tag documents according to global documentation standards.
4. Client Communication: Communicate with clients and relationship managers to collect necessary documents and information for KYC reviews.
5. Data Management: Manage and execute the delegated portfolio, including triggers, annual sanctions, updates, and other activities related to KYC.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), to address complex queries and ensure KYC governance.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the organisation's Code of Conduct.
Qualifications:- Good background in KYC policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of KYC for various client segments.
- Knowledge of Financial Crime risk, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and credit-related risk is an advantage.
- Analytical and inquiring mind.
