Role Overview
We are looking for a thoughtful and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our growing content team. In this role, you will help shape storytelling across the hospital environment and the broader brand. Most of the footage you work with will be real, unscripted momentspatient experiences, doctor conversations, and on-ground walkthroughs. Your edits should feel calm, grounded, and emotionally authenticnot dramatic or promotional.
As part of an early-stage team, you will also contribute to building and refining workflows as the function evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for social media, internal communication, and brand storytelling.
- Shape narrative flow with sensitivity to tone, pacing, and emotional resonance.
- Create clean, simple text or graphic overlays when required.
- Maintain well-organized project files, asset libraries, and timelines.
- Work closely with content creators and stakeholders to incorporate continuous feedback.
- Iterate thoughtfully until the story feels emotionally right and aligns with the intended message.
What We Are Looking For
- Basic familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
- A good ear for sound quality, ambient audio, and simple musical cues.
- Patience and commitment to refining the rhythm of a story, not just delivering quick output.
- Comfort giving and receiving feedback openly and constructively.
- A collaborative, learning-oriented mindset and a willingness to grow in an evolving team.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with documentary-style or candid footage.
- Understanding of basic colour correction and sound cleanup.
- Interest in healthcare stories or social impact narratives.
- Ability to assist with simple motion graphics when needed.
