Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Junior Sous Chef located in Pune. The Junior Sous Chef will assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, and uphold food quality and hygiene standards. Daily tasks include supporting senior chefs, helping with inventory management, and contributing to menu planning. The Junior Sous Chef will also participate in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills, Food preparation, and Presentation skills
  • Knowledge of inventory management food cost control and Menu planning
  • Understanding of food quality, Hygiene standards, and Safety regulations
  • Teamwork and Communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn
  • Relevant culinary education or certification is a plus
