Job Summary:
The
Junior SAP Basis Administrator will be part of our super talented SAP BASIS team responsible for handling BAU activities and managing our diverse SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have at least
2 years of technical expertise administering SAP systems hosted in
AWS or
Azure, and have experience managing
SAP on Linux as well as exposure to
SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase). Hands-on experience with
SAP BTP or
SAP Datasphere will be considered as a plus but not necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle BAU SAP Basis activities, including system copies (SAP Refreshes), system monitoring (availability, performance, and capacity), troubleshooting, configurations, patchings, etc.
- System performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve L1/L2 technical incidents affecting our SAP systems or Satellite Applications, demonstrating the ability to navigate through different applications, databases, and operating systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects.
- Perform system health checks, follow audit-related controls, generate reports for capacity planning, and performance analysis.
- Apply support packages, kernel upgrades, database patches, and security patches.
