About the Role
We are looking for a smart, proactive, and people-driven Junior Recruiter & HR who can take ownership of end-to-end hiring, support day-to-day HR operations, and help build strong foundations for our growing team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment (Primary Role)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical & non-technical roles.
- Source candidates through multiple channels (LinkedIn, Naukri, communities, referrals, job boards, social media, etc.).
- Screen resumes and conducts initial HR screening calls.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and maintain seamless communication.
- Manage and update candidate trackers regularly.
- Use creative hiring techniques to close positions faster.
- Maintain a strong talent pipeline for current & future requirements.
- Share interview feedback and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
2. HR Operations
- Support onboarding formalities (documentation, email creation, form collection, orientation coordination).
- Assist in preparing offer letters, internship agreements, joining kits, and HR files.
- Maintain employee data, attendance records, and HR documentation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives (welcome messages, celebrations, surveys, fun activities).
- Assist in preparing HR policies and process improvements.
- Coordinate with internal teams for role-specific requirements.
3. Employee Engagement & Support
- Be the first point of contact for employee queries.
- Help create a positive, energetic, and supportive work environment.
- Assist with engagement activities like birthdays, appreciation notes, team events, etc.
- Conduct check-ins for new joiners to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee data.
- Help in aligning HR documentation as per company guidelines.
- Support performance review coordination and feedback collection.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- Understanding of startup culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of sourcing techniques (Boolean search, LinkedIn filters, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of HR processes and documentation.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple roles simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up capability.
- Creativity in sourcing, employer branding, and engagement activities.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- HR certification or internship experience is a plus.
