Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for an Interior Designer. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, creating detailed construction drawings, and designing aesthetically pleasing interiors. The role involves selecting and integrating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to meet client needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Proficiency in selecting and integrating FF&E
- Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Experience in residential and commercial projects is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
- Prepare mood boards, concepts, space plans, and 2D/3D visualizations.
- Select materials, furnishings, finishes, and dcor in line with the approved concept.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for implementation.
- Visit sites to ensure execution aligns with design drawings and specifications.
- Revise designs based on client feedback and site conditions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, or similar design tools
- Strong creativity with attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation skills
