Job Description
Key responsibilities
Project support: Assist senior designers with all phases of residential and commercial projects, from initial concept to final installation.
Design and presentation: Prepare mood boards, material boards, and conceptual presentations. Create drawings, renderings, and other design documentation using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or V-Ray.
Material sourcing: Research and select furniture, fixtures, fabrics, and finishes. Organize material samples and coordinate with vendors.
Space planning: Assist in developing space plans, layouts, and floor plans.
Client and team collaboration: Support the team in client meetings and discussions, and help coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects stay on track.
Documentation: Maintain project documentation and ensure that project information is up-to-date.
Required skills and qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field is typically required.
Technical skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop is necessary for creating drawings and presentations.
Soft skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential. Creativity and a strong work ethic are also valued.
Experience: junior level position, often requiring mini 4 years of related experience.
Additional skills: Knowledge of color theory, project coordination, and sustainable design practices is beneficial.
