Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated
Junior Dev Cloud Engineer to develop, deploy, and optimize scalable data processing and orchestration solutions on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
Java 17+,
Apache Beam, and
Airflow/Cloud Composer, along with a solid understanding of GCP Big Data services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable data processing pipelines using Java 17+ and Apache Beam on GCP Cloud Dataflow.
- Build and manage data orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow or GCP Cloud Composer, including developing and maintaining DAGs with standard and custom operators.
- Work extensively with GCP Big Data services such as BigQuery, BigTable, Cloud SQL, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS) for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and performance optimization.
- Write, optimize, and review complex SQL queries for data retrieval and analytics across BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, documentation, testing practices, and best engineering methodologies.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and Development teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient cloud-based solutions.
Mandatory Skills- Strong knowledge of GCP
- Proficiency in Java 17+
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam SDK)
- Experience with Airflow/Cloud Composer (DAG creation and management)
- Proficiency in GCP Big Data Services:
