Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have 12 years of accounting experience, strong working knowledge of Tally, and the ability to handle day-to-day accounting operations including ledger scrutiny, balance sheet finalization, and statutory compliances.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting transactions and entries in Tally.
Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Assist in balance sheet finalization and monthly closing activities.
Maintain and monitor debtor/creditor aging reports.
Record and process salary bookings and related journal entries.
Assist in GST return preparation and filing.
Support with preparation of invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documentation.
Coordinate with the finance team for reconciliations and audits.
Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial records.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
12 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
Knowledge of ledger scrutiny, balance sheet preparation, and GST returns.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational abilities.
