Junior Accountant

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in the preparation of financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare and process invoices and payments
• Conduct financial audits and assist in compliance checks
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve accuracy

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
