Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-driven Junior Video Editor to join our growing creative team. The ideal candidate has a keen sense of visual storytelling and can craft videos that are aesthetically strong, emotionally resonant, and aligned with our brand language. From product films to behind-the-scenes edits, you'll be responsible for bringing both our internal and client narratives to life through dynamic visual content.

Responsibilities:

Editing & Post-Production:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for social media, digital campaigns, marketing materials, and brand stories.
• Create short-form content like reels, teasers, transitions, and snappy edits with rhythm, precision, and style.
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and effects to enhance visual storytelling.

Collaboration & Concept Execution:

• Work with content writers, designers, and strategists to understand briefs and create compelling video outputs.
• Collaborate with the Visual Design team for consistency across formats (static and motion).
• Support senior video editors on larger projects with adaptability and speed.

Visual Consistency & Brand Language:

• Ensure all videos maintain brand consistency in terms of tone, look, and message.
• Apply basic animation to maintain a cohesive aesthetic across all platforms and formats.

Organization & File Management:

• Maintain structured folders and project timelines.
• Manage exports, media file backups, and basic asset archiving.

Trend Awareness & Research:

• Stay up to date with video trends, especially on Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
• Recommend creative references or formats relevant to ongoing content and campaigns.

Qualifications:

• 1 - 2 years of professional or freelance video editing experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop is a strong plus.
• Understanding of storytelling, transitions, pacing, and audio syncing.
• Familiarity with color correction, basic animations, and design sensibility.
• A sharp eye for detail and aesthetics, especially within fashion, lifestyle, or culture-driven content.
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
