Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The Job Title will be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their insurance and financial protection needs, explaining suitable HDFC Life products, and supporting them through the application and onboarding process. Daily activities include maintaining accurate customer records, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely policy issuance, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance requirements. The role also involves meeting defined sales or service targets, participating in branch-level initiatives, and contributing to a positive customer experience. The Job Title will collaborate with colleagues and financial consultants to support branch growth and build long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to understand and respond to diverse customer needs.
• Sales, negotiation, and consultative communication capabilities to explain insurance solutions clearly and ethically.
• Basic financial literacy and familiarity with protection, savings, investment, and retirement products (insurance or related financial services experience preferred).
• Proficiency in using office productivity tools and CRM or customer data systems to manage records and reports.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, meet performance targets, and collaborate effectively with branch and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages of Kolkata is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are a plus.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a strong orientation toward regulatory and company compliance.
