Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PCIe Validation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in validating high-speed interfaces. The ideal candidate should have expertise in PCI Express (PCIe) validation, test development, and pre-silicon/post-silicon validation. Experience in embedded software development is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation test plans for PCIe and other high-speed interfaces.

• Design and develop validation frameworks, test cases, and automation.

• Perform pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of SoCs and PCIe subsystems.

• Validate PCIe link initialization, LTSSM, enumeration, DMA, MSI/MSI-X, power management, and error handling.

• Debug protocol, hardware, firmware, and system-level issues.

• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, or Perl.

• Collaborate with Design, Verification, Firmware, and Hardware teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of PCIe or high-speed interface validation experience.

• Test development for PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SATA, UFS, or similar interfaces.

• Hands-on pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.

• Strong PCIe Gen3/Gen4/Gen5 protocol knowledge.

• Experience with protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

• Linux, Python/Shell scripting, and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Embedded software/firmware development experience.

• C/C++ programming knowledge.

• PCI-SIG compliance testing exposure.

• FPGA-based validation platform experience.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
