Description
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with the ability to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Execute manual and automated tests, and document results to ensure software quality.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testing processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation.
- Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
