We are looking for an experienced JDE Security Engineer to join our global JDE CoEX CNC team. This position plays a critical role in managing and securing a highly complex, large-scale JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne environment that spans multiple regions and business units. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in JDE security, access control, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure a secure and efficient operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Management & Access Control (usage of QSoftware)
- Design, implement, and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) within a global JDE EnterpriseOne environment.
- Maintain and enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies and ensure compliance with global security standards.
- Oversee user provisioning, authentication, and authorization processes, ensuring secure and efficient access management.
- Develop and enforce JDE security policies, procedures, and best practices in line with industry standards (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
- Automation JDE security area.
Collaboration & Support:
- Partner with IT infrastructure, application, and business teams to integrate security best practices into system upgrades, implementations, and configurations.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users, business process owners, and IT teams on JDE security best practices.
- Support global JDE rollouts and enhancements, ensuring security is embedded in project lifecycles.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in JDE EnterpriseOne security administration in a global, multi-business-unit environment.
- Experience in Qsoftware
- Strong understanding of JDE security tables, security workbench, UDO security, and Object-Level Security (OLS).
- Experience implementing and managing Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies in JDE.
- Hands-on experience with security auditing, compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, GxP, ISO 27001), and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with JDE CNC (Configurable Network Computing) architecture and how security integrates with system configurations.
- Experience with JDE security automation tools and reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for security-related issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment, collaborating across multiple time zones.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical security concepts for business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based JDE deployments (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Knowledge of data encryption, database security, and advanced cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of Active Directory (AD), PEGA, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in JDE environments.
- Oracle JDE Security-related certifications.
- AWS Cloud Certification
