About the Role
At ValueLabs, we are hiring a seasoned React.js Developer to build modern, responsive web applications for the banking and financial services domain. This is a full-time opportunity for professionals who are passionate about frontend development and delivering secure, scalable, and intuitive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance React.js applications with a strong focus on security and scalability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with Redux, React Hooks, and React Router
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with component-based architecture and modular design
- Experience integrating with backend services and third-party APIs
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and banking-grade security standards
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills mandatory
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking/fintech applications (e.g., customer portals, dashboards, digital onboarding)
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodology
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and Docker
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library
