Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Build high-performance event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
- Develop and integrate APIs with enterprise systems and third-party applications.
- Implement Microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Design Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and message processing workflows.
- Ensure API security, scalability, performance, and high availability.
- Collaborate with solution architects, business stakeholders, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.
Required Skills
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Streams).
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Experience with API Gateway and API Management.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, messaging patterns, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with reputed MNCs.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) domain.
- Exposure to event-driven architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
- AWS/Azure certification is an added advantage.
