JD for Solution Architect – .NET
Own and drive end‑to‑end solution architecture for enterprise‑scale applications using .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions.
- Design and govern microservices‑based architectures, including service decomposition, API contracts, and inter‑service communication.
- Lead solution design and delivery on Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
- Define application, integration, and deployment architectures aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Design and review RESTful APIs and event‑driven integrations.
- Ensure solutions meet non‑functional requirements such as performance, scalability, availability, security, and resiliency.
- Apply BFSI domain knowledge to solution design, including considerations for:
- Regulatory compliance
- Data privacy and security
- Auditability and traceability
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and DevOps teams.
- Review architecture and design artifacts (HLD / LLD) and provide technical sign‑off.
- Drive adoption of cloud‑native, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices.
- Mentor senior developers and technical leads; support estimations and technical risk assessment.
- Collaborate with business, product, engineering, risk, and enterprise architecture stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience (Mandatory)
- 5 to 8years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years in Solution Architect / Technical Architect / Senior Technical Lead roles.
- Mandatory experience working in BFSI domain (Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance).
- Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale BFSI applications (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Lending, etc.).
Required Skills
- Core Technical Skills (Mandatory)
- Strong expertise in .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C#.
- Strong experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and service orchestration.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
- BFSI Domain Knowledge (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of banking and financial systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and security requirements in BFSI.
- Experience designing solutions with high availability, resiliency, and audit requirements.
- Familiarity with domains such as:
- Retail / Corporate Banking
- Payments
- Lending
- Customer & Account Management
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience designing cloud‑native and container‑based solutions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (ARM / Bicep / Terraform – good to have).
- Data & Integration
- Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL / PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, DynamoDB, MongoDB – good to have).
- Understanding of event‑driven and messaging architectures (Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Kafka – good to have).
- Architecture & Soft Skills
- Strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture principles.
- Ability to produce and communicate clear architecture diagrams and documentation.
- Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to mentor teams and guide technical decisions without constant hands‑on coding.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent.
- Cloud or architecture certifications (Azure / AWS) – preferred.
