Java deployer

Job Description
We are looking for talented Deployment Engineers to expand our deployment team in Chennai.
The successful candidate will focus on software deployments from development to production in a
reliable and efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities
Within the Deployment team, your main role is to work on deploying, operating, and monitoring our
systems:
➢ You will take care of complex software installations and configuration in Dev, Quality Assurance,
Demo, and Production environments
➢ You will collaborate with different teams such as Development, Project Management, Client
support etc.
➢ You will act as requirement provider to developers of automated tools.
➢ You will contribute on the integration of software developed by different teams, and put in
place the tools to deploy it on different environments (development, test, demo, and client)
➢ You will write documentation and train users on software installation
Hard Skills:
➢ Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
➢ Strong working knowledge of Configuring and deploying applications built with Java
technologies (Jboss, Spring boot, Apache Camel etc...)
➢ Experience with Jenkins
➢ Experience with Infrastructure Monitoring Tools (E.g., Nagios)
➢ Good knowledge of networking and TCP/IP.
➢ Good understanding of network transfer protocols HTTP, FTP.
➢ Database Administration (MySQL)
➢ Comfortable with SQL and XML
➢ Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
➢ Familiar with source code management systems (Git/Bitbucket)
➢ Good to have Proficiency in any script languages (Python, Go, PowerShell)
➢ Good to have Configuration Management and release Management knowledge.
