We're hiring for skilled and motivated Java AWS Engineer in Bangaloreto join our Information Security team. This role is critical to ensuring the secure management of privileged accounts across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 Years hands-on experience with Java AWS.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java + AWS Developerto join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise using Java and Spring Boot, along with hands-on experience in designing and deploying applications on AWS. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
  • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWSusing services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
  • Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with cloud security standards
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, Strong problem solving with DSA
  • Experience with AWS servicessuch as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.
  • Familiarity with Microservices architectureand containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases(MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD toolsand version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Knowledge of security best practicesin cloud environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Developer Associate or Solutions Architect)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
