IT- Sr Systems Engineer (Boomi)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise integrations using Dell Boomi AtomSphere
• Build and maintain Boomi processes, APIs, connectors, listeners, and reusable integration components
• Manage Boomi runtime environments including Atoms, Molecules, Atom Clouds, and Dev/Test/Prod setups
• Implement API management features such as throttling, rate limiting, versioning, and policy enforcement
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, HTTP/S, FTP/SFTP, file-based, and event-driven architectures
• Implement robust error handling, retries, alerting, exception management, and reprocessing frameworks
• Work with asynchronous messaging using Boomi Atom Queues
• Handle data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI (X12, EDIFACT)
• Perform platform governance, deployment management, and connector administration
• Provide L2/L3 production support with SLA adherence and monitoring of critical integrations
• Document integration designs, data mappings, dependencies, and operational runbooks
