Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and dependable IT Infrastructure & Security Executive to manage our office network, servers, systems, and cloud instances while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and robust security. The role suits someone with a strong technical foundation, eager to grow into a senior infrastructure or security specialist role.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Systems Management

* Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and VPN connections.

* Manage on-premises and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).

* Handle system updates, patching, and performance monitoring.

* Ensure regular *data backup and restore* procedures are functioning properly.

Security & Compliance

* Manage antivirus, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.

* Perform *basic vulnerability checks* and monitor for suspicious activity.

* Implement password policies, access controls, and system hardening practices.

* Support IT audits, compliance documentation, and policy enforcement.

Cloud & Virtual Systems

* Manage basic configurations and access for cloud instances (AWS/Azure).

* Monitor resource usage and security groups.

* Support hybrid setup between local and cloud environments.

User & IT Support

* Provide day-to-day support to staff for systems, email, and network access issues.

* Maintain IT asset inventory and user access records.

* Document configurations, credentials, and IT policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

* 24 years experience in IT systems/network administration.

* Basic knowledge of:

* Networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls)

* Windows/Linux server management

* Endpoint security tools and practices

* Cloud basics (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

* Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but Advantageous)

* CCNA or CompTIA Network+

* Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator / Azure Fundamentals

* CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
