Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • To receive clients calls for installation and/or troubleshooting
  • To reach client location, on time defined, for site inspection feasibility
  • To understand client requirement, study geography of the clientlocation and record the same
  • To help, Sales Marketing team, understand client requirement andsuggest suitable product accordingly
  • Suggest improvements in client plan as per feasibility and budget
  • To install/service the product appropriately and get call report signedby the client
  • To identify the actual fault to provide appropriate solution to theclient for proper functioning of the installed system
  • Responsible for trouble-shooting and guiding the client/s throughTeamViewer/Amy Admin or web-based training
  • To provide top-of-the-line service to clients with regards to themaintenance of the product/ equipment installed
  • To submit call report, to Assistant Manager IT, for every callattended and service provided to the client
  • To report and provide call status, to the Assistant Manager IT, afterevery installation / service rendered to the client
  • To check and show the configuration of equipment/s to client and takeacknowledgement of the same from the client
  • Update and maintain records of, installation and/ or collection
  • To be available at all times for prompt/quick availability for fieldsupport
  • To report/escalate all service related grievance immediately to theAssistant Manager IT
  • To inform the supervisor/s if any spare part need to be replaced
  • Maintain update inventory of working / damaged / replaced parts
  • Repairing of non-working assets
  • To help generate / maintain FAQ s knowledge base
  • Self-updating as per upgradation in technology
  • To help or provide assistance to other engineers as and when required
  • Follow standard operating procedures/process flow to achieve betterresults
  • Call-logging with manufacturers as and when required
  • Ensure all logged calls are attended within defined TAT
  • Getting a declaration signed by the client before addressing anysoftware related issue
  • To ensure timely/accurate preparation and submission of visit report
  • To ensure completion of monthly/quarterly courtesy visit
  • To record, the details of damaged/ replaced equipment s collected fromthe client place, in the gate pass and obtain clients signature on it
  • Handover gate pass along with damaged/ replaced equipment s to theStore-In charge
  • Any additional work, as assigned by the Management Team, from time totime
