This Position reports to:

Global IS Manager for IS Integration & Orchestration Services

Your role and responsibilities

In this global role as a Service Owner you will lead integration platforms service lines, managing their full lifecycle roadmaps from design to delivery. You will ensure services are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations. You will also oversee internal teams and global vendors to maintain high service quality and optimize costs.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Leading the global ownership and strategic direction for integration platforms including MuleSoft, BizTalk, and AIS (Azure Integration Services), as well as assurance services such as User Access Management (UAM), audit compliance, and controls governance, ensuring alignment with ABB's enterprise IT, security, and regulatory strategies.
  • Defining and driving integration strategy and innovation, modernizing core services through automation, cloud enablement, and enhanced user experiences, while balancing performance, compliance, and operational risk.
  • Providing leadership and influence across high-stakes stakeholder groups, including Business Area CIOs, Cybersecurity, Internal Audit, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, and Process Owners- building trust through transparency, insight, and execution excellence.
  • Managing financial performance of services, ensuring cost optimization, value realization, and return on investment across the integration platform landscape and assurance portfolio.
  • Overseeing platform-level compliance and assurance capabilities, ensuring SOX, ISO, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements are met through continuous monitoring, secure design, and audit-readiness of platforms and processes.
  • Driving innovation and future-readiness through the evaluation and adoption of emerging integration capabilities (e.g., API-led connectivity, hybrid integration models, AI in access control), enabling ABB's journey toward a secure and intelligent enterprise.
  • Leading risk identification and mitigation efforts, proactively managing deviations, audit findings, and control weaknesses through structured action plans and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fostering cross-functional collaboration across Infrastructure, Security, ERP, Application, and Compliance teams to deliver integrated, compliant, and high-performing platform services.
  • Acting as a thought leader and transformation agent, championing platform simplification, governance maturity, and continuous improvement to support ABB's evolving digital and regulatory landscape.

Qualifications for the role:

  • 10+ years of experience in Integration Platform Operations, specializing in MuleSoft, BizTalk, and AIS, including expertise in middleware configuration, API management, messaging systems, and database platforms.
  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors within a global service delivery environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance of integration services.
  • Proven experience in establishing and scaling global services around integration platforms, including architecture design, governance frameworks, and operational excellence for platforms like MuleSoft and BizTalk.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in ITIL, MuleSoft, BizTalk, or integration architecture are highly desirable, demonstrating commitment to best practices and continuous improvement.
