Microsoft Endpoint Manager
Device Deployment and Configuration:
Plan, oversee, and execute the deployment of end user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Configure and maintain device images, ensuring that they meet the organization's security and performance standards.
Device Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security policies and practices for end user devices, ensuring protection against threats and adherence to compliance standards.
Regularly update and patch devices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Endpoint Management:
Manage endpoint management systems and tools for device inventory, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on end user devices.
Software Management:
Oversee software deployment and updates, including operating systems, applications, and software licenses.
Ensure software compliance and license management.
User Support and Training:
Provide technical support to end users, addressing their device-related issues and inquiries.
Develop and deliver user training and documentation to enhance device usage.
Asset Management:
Maintain an accurate inventory of end user devices, including hardware specifications, warranties, and locations.
Monitor device lifecycles and recommend replacements or upgrades as needed.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize end user device performance to ensure efficient use and responsiveness.
Implement performance monitoring and tuning strategies.
PowerShell Scripting:
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of PowerShell scripting to automate device management tasks and enhance efficiency.
Okta Management:
Implement consumer authentication flows including simple and adaptive MFA along with flexible authorization, and role-based access control.
Configure factor enrolments, sign on and password policies and application policies.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Manage access controls, authentication, and authorization within Okta.
Integration and Customization:
Integrate applications using SAML, OAuth and OIDC
Perform business use case analysis and quickly implement recommended POCs with Okta User
Support and Training:
Provide technical support to endusers, including troubleshooting issues, resolving technical problems, and assisting with user training.
Create and maintain documentation and training materials for Okta users.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor system performance and usage, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Generate reports and insights on Okta usage and performance for management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+years of experience in identity and access management and end user device management and support.
Proficiency in managing a variety of end user devices and operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
Strong knowledge of endpoint security best practices and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with IDP, endpoint management tools and systems.
Proficiency in Intune, Microsoft endpoint manager and AD.
Strong understanding of cloud-based collaboration and productivity tools.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance within Okta, MEM.
Experience with scripting and automation using APIs.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
