Job Summary:
The International Sales Executive at Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) plays a dual roledriving global student enrollments and building BIA's international presence across multiple markets such as the US, UK, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
This is both a student-facing and business development role that involves managing the entire sales cycle: reaching out to prospective leads, counseling them about relevant programs, scheduling sessions with academic advisors, following up for conversions, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
The position requires excellent spoken English (preferably with a neutral, UK, or US accent), strong persuasion skills, and the ability to adapt communication styles for international audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Lead Conversion
- Initiate outbound calls to prospective students who have shown interest via digital campaigns, web forms, or referrals.
- Engage with international prospects through calls, emails, and virtual meetings across different time zones.
- Clearly articulate BIA's value proposition, course structure, certifications, and global career opportunities.
- Understand the goals, needs, and motivations of each lead, and suggest the most relevant programs or certifications.
- Handle objections tactfully, build trust through personalized engagement, and convert interest into confirmed enrollments.
- Maintain detailed tracking of each lead's status using CRM tools and report conversion progress regularly.
2. Counseling Session Coordination
- Schedule and confirm personalized one-on-one counseling sessions between prospective students and BIA's academic advisors.
- Follow up after counseling sessions to address additional questions and guide the lead toward enrollment.
- Keep counselors informed about each lead's progress, readiness, and any support required for conversion.
3. Lead Nurturing & Follow-Up
- Proactively follow up with leads at every stagecold, warm, and hotacross phone, WhatsApp, and email.
- Reconnect with previously engaged leads using new course updates, scholarship opportunities, and success stories.
- Maintain a professional tone in all communication and ensure consistent engagement until the enrollment decision.
4. International Market Development (New Additions)
- Explore new global markets, identify target regions, and contribute to international student acquisition strategies.
- Build and manage relationships with educational agents, study-abroad consultants, and institutional partners in other countries.
- Research global education trends, regional student motivations, and emerging market opportunities to support BIA's expansion.
- Support marketing teams with insights on cultural preferences, communication tone, and localization needs.
5. Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term trust with international students, alumni, and partner institutions.
- Coordinate virtual demos, informational webinars, and consultations to enhance student experience.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for all enrolled international students and handle any post-enrollment support.
6. Performance & Reporting
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets for lead contact, conversion, and enrollment.
- Prepare daily activity and conversion reports, providing insight into lead quality and sales performance.
- Share on-ground and international market feedback with marketing and academic teams to optimize campaign targeting.
7. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with counselors, academic teams, and marketing to maintain a unified communication approach.
- Participate in regular product and sales training to stay updated on new course offerings and features.
- Support internal teams with CRM best practices, feedback collection, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 25 years of experience in sales, tele-counseling, or international BPO rolespreferably for global (US/UK) markets or education services.
- Exceptional communication and persuasion skills; fluent in English (neutral or international accent preferred).
- Experience handling international students, clients, or partners across time zones.
- Strong familiarity with CRM systems, lead dashboards, and sales reporting tools.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- A background in EdTech, study-abroad consulting, or global education sales is an added advantage.
