About Korero Creative House

Korero Creative House is a fast-growing creative agency working in the space of comedy, entertainment, and concept shows. We produce high-impact visual content from sketch-based comedy videos to branded creative pieces for some of the most exciting voices in the scene.

We're now looking for aVideo Editor & Graphic Designerwho can bring visual stories to life with sharp edits, a strong design sense, and a genuine feel for comedic timing and storytelling.

Role Overview

As a Video Editor & Graphic Designer at Korero, you'll handle end-to-end post-production and creative asset design across multiple platforms from YouTube and Instagram to branded digital campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving creative environments, loves visual storytelling, and wants to grow into a full-time position in a professional creative studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content (YouTube, sketches, reels, branded content, show promos).
  • Perform basic sound cleanup and balancing; contribute to music and SFX choices.
  • Design digital assets social media posts, show posters, and YouTube thumbnails.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative and writing teams to translate ideas into visual form.
  • Maintain brand consistency across visuals and formats.
  • Organise and manage footage, assets, and project files systematically.
  • (Preferred) Assist in occasional shoots camera setup, lighting, or on-set coordination.

Requirements

  • Proficiency inAdobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • A solid sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling especially for comedy or entertainment content.
  • Strong visual composition and typography understanding.
  • Basic sound design and colour correction ability.
  • Portfolio or showreel demonstrating bothvideo editsandgraphic design work.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of social-first formats (YouTube, Reels, Shorts).
  • Awareness of online comedy and creator content trends.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a creative environment.
  • Familiarity with camera operations (nice to have, not mandatory).

Internship Details

  • Duration:Minimum 3 months
  • Mode:Remote (Hybrid option may open post-internship)
  • Compensation:10,000
  • Opportunity:Can be converted into a full-time role based on performance
