About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Python Intern with strong programming fundamentals. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop automation solutions, build REST APIs, process data, and contribute to internal tools and applications. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world projects and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based automation scripts and applications.
- Build and optimize data extraction, transformation, and processing workflows.
- Assist in developing and integrating REST APIs with internal and third-party systems.
- Debug, test, and improve application performance and code quality.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles, exception handling, and file operations in Python.
- Work with SQL databases to write queries and manage data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver assigned features and automation solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for code, workflows, and processes.
- Follow coding standards, version control, and software development best practices.
Required Skills
Python Fundamentals
- Strong understanding of Python fundamentals, including:
- Variables, data types, and operators
- Input/output operations
- Conditional statements and loops
- Functions, modules, and packages
- Object-oriented programming (classes, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation)
- Exception handling
- File handling (CSV, JSON, Excel)
APIs & Tools
- Understanding of REST APIs & JSON
- Knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas and Requests
- Understanding of automation concepts and scripting.
- Good to have:
- Postman & Swagger/Open API
- Git & GitHub
- Selenium / Playwright or other Python-based automation tools
Database
- Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE)
Add-on skill required
- Basic Java fundamentals (OOP, loops, exception handling)
