Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Support data ingestion from APIs, databases, and flat files into data warehouses/lakes.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and validation.
• Help monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and improve data quality.
• Contribute to data modeling and documentation of datasets, workflows, and standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and software engineers on business data needs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Pythonpreferred).
• Understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with data tools such asAirflow,dbt,Spark, orKafka(academic/project level acceptable).
• Understanding of data governance, quality checks, and basic security concepts.
• Prior internship or project experience in data engineering/analytics.
