We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Intern to assist in conducting an in-depth study of a specific community in India. The intern will play a vital role in gathering qualitative and quantitative data, analyzing cultural, economic, and social aspects, and contributing to insightful research findings that can guide community-centric programs.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on the assigned community, including its culture, traditions, livelihood, social structure, and challenges.
- Design and execute surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the research objectives.
- Document findings and develop comprehensive reports or presentations.
- Maintain sensitivity and ethical standards when engaging with community members.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Graduation (Anthropologie, History, Sociology, Bachelors in Social Work)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proficient in Hindi and Punjabi.
