About the RoleUnion Living is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in co-living, residential, or commercial interiors and will be confident managing multiple projects from concept to completion. You will play a key role in creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and community-driven spaces that reflect Union Living's brand ethos.
Key Responsibilities- Conceptualize and design interior layouts, furniture plans, and space concepts for Union Living properties.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, material boards, and 3D references to communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with the Fit-Out Manager and site teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers for sourcing, production, and installation activities.
- Conduct regular site visits, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams including brand, operations, and procurement to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to handover, maintaining quality and design consistency throughout.
Requirements- 23 years of relevant experience in interior design, preferably in co-living, residential, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of additional design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture detailing, and space planning principles.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel to various sites for design execution and supervision.
Bonus Points- Experience managing interior projects end-to-end, including budgeting and on-site coordination.
- Strong vendor management and fit-out execution experience.
- Ability to blend creativity with functionality and deliver practical, well-designed spaces.
