We are looking for an Interior/Furniture Design Associate to support high-end residential design projects. The role involves concept development, bespoke furniture design, material sourcing, vendor coordination, and assisting the senior team across all stages of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in space planning, interior styling, and custom furniture design for luxury residential projects.
- Develop design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and presentation decks aligned with the project vision.
- Support senior designers in sourcing materials, finishes, fabrics, accessories, and globally curated dcor pieces.
- Coordinate with vendors, artisans, fabricators, and consultants to ensure workflow efficiency and timely execution.
- Conduct site visits to review workmanship, track progress, and ensure alignment with approved design intent.
- Maintain clear documentation and communication to aid seamless project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Product Design.
- (Diploma candidates will not be considered)
- Strong understanding of loose furniture ergonomics, materials, joineries, and design basics.
- Prior experience in luxury residential interior projects is mandatory.
- (Experience limited to modular kitchen/wardrobe brands will not be considered)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar 3D tools, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a reputed interior or furniture design studio.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional, proactive work approach.
