Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join Designs by Sonam and Neha. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial projects, strong design sensibility, and the ability to translate client needs into functional and aesthetic design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop design concepts, space planning, and mood boards
Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using design software
Assist in material selection, color schemes, and finishes
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and revisions
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and execution teams
Prepare BOQs, costing estimates, and project documentation
Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
Stay updated with current trends in interior design and architecture
Required Skills
Proficiency in software such as:
AutoCAD
SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit (any)
Photoshop / Illustrator
MS Office
Strong understanding of:
Design principles
Space utilization
Lighting layouts
Material knowledge
Furniture and dcor styles
Additional strengths:
Creativity and visual imagination
Good communication and presentation skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in teams
Preferred Experience
Completed internship in interior design or architectural studio
Portfolio showcasing residential or commercial projects
Site supervision exposure is a plus
