Role Description The Interior Designer at Bard Spaces will work full time on-site in New Delhi, collaborating with clients and internal teams to develop interior concepts from initial idea through project completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating design proposals, preparing mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to align with project goals and budgets. The role involves producing detailed drawings and specifications, working closely with architects and contractors, and overseeing on-site execution to ensure design intent is maintained. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design options, incorporate feedback, and manage timelines and documentation to support smooth project delivery. This position requires a balance of creative design skills, technical proficiency, and strong organizational capabilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and FF&E selection for residential and/or commercial projects.
- Strong Space Planning skills, with the ability to optimize layouts for functionality, aesthetics, and code compliance.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and how they integrate with interior design solutions.
- Proficiency in developing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution and coordination.
- Relevant design software skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools) and competency with presentation tools.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present concepts and respond to feedback constructively.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in New Delhi.
