Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop design concepts, and create detailed space plans that align with both aesthetic and functional goals. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, selecting materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design execution. The role involves site visits to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The Interior Designer will also contribute to project presentations, documentation, and timely delivery within budget and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong space planning and interior design skills to create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts.
- Candidates should possess architecture and construction drawings skills to develop and interpret detailed project documentation.
- Candidates should possess FF&E skills for selecting and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design concepts and budgets.
- 1+ years of professional experience in interior design or related fields, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with clients, project teams, and vendors.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
