Inspection Officer – Goa

We are looking for an experienced Inspection Officer to join our team in Goa.

Location: Goa

Experience: 3+ Years

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical or related field)

Mandatory: Welding Inspection & NDT Level Certification

Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate to Goa

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct visual inspection of welded joints and structures as per shipbuilding standards.

Perform NDT inspections including UT, RT, and MPI.

Inspect accessories fitment, alignment, and installation as per design specifications.

Verify equipment alignment with respect to ship master datum.

Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.

Ensure compliance with shipbuilding codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Production teams for smooth project execution.

Support and mentor junior inspectors on NDT techniques and welding practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of welding inspection, NDT, and quality assurance processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Level II NDT Certification (UT/RT/MPI preferred).

Experience in shipbuilding inspection and accessories fitment.
