Job Description & Summary:

PwC India is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Manager to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of SAP TM solutions for global clients. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP TM, experience leading consulting engagements, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while delivering high-quality business outcomes. 

Responsibilities:

 

• Define and own domain architecture strategies for digital transformation programs within the Retail & Consumer sector. 
  

• Analyze retail business models, customer journeys, and supply chain processes to design technology solutions that enhance engagement, agility, and efficiency. 
  

• Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints encompassing applications, data ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, and integration layers specific to retail environments. 
  

• Advise on and implement emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, omnichannel platforms, personalization engines, and analytics to elevate retail operations and CX. 
  

• Collaborate with enterprise architects and business leaders to ensure domain solutions align with organizational IT strategy and governance. 
  

• Lead architectural governance, design workshops, and stakeholder alignment to ensure solution robustness and compliance with best practices. 
  

• Mentor junior architects and consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth within the team. 
  

• Support proposal development, client engagements, and thought leadership initiatives in retail digital transformation. 
  

• Keep updated on market trends, consumer behavior shifts, and digital innovations relevant to retail and consumer sectors. 
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
  

• MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred. 
  

• 8–12 years of SAP consulting experience, with at least 5 years specializing in SAP Transportation Management. 
  

• Hands-on experience in multiple end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects. 
  

• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics business processes. 
  

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management. 
  

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  

• Proven experience leading consulting teams and managing project deliveries.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.  
  

• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or digital transformation, with minimum 5 years focused on the Retail & Consumer sector. 
  

• Demonstrated expertise as a Domain Architect or Solution Architect driving large-scale retail transformation projects. 
  

• Strong knowledge of retail operations including merchandising, supply chain, customer experience, e-commerce, and loyalty management. 
  

• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, data platforms, AI/ML, IoT, and CRM/ERP systems popular in retail. 
  

• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent. 
  

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  

• Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and engage with senior client stakeholders. 
  

• Consulting experience preferred but not mandatory.
