Job Description & Summary:

We are looking for anInfrastructure Engineerto join ourAzurefirst Global Capability Center (GCC). This role is responsible for operating, optimizing, and modernizingenterprise and cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus onMicrosoft Azure and hybrid environmentssupporting global business platforms.

The engineer will work closely with global IT, cloud, security, and application teams to ensureavailability, scalability, security, and operational excellenceacross production environments.

Responsibilities:

Azure & Hybrid Infrastructure Operations

• Operate and supportAzure infrastructure servicesincluding VMs, Storage, Networking, and identity services
  

• Managehybrid infrastructureintegrating onpremsystems with Azure cloud
  

• Ensurehigh availability, performance, backup, and disaster recoveryfor businesscritical workloads
  

• ProvideL3/L2 infrastructure support, including incident, problem, and change management
  

• Participate inoncall rotationssupporting global 24x7 environments
  
  

• Support and maintainAzure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, and access control
  

• Execute and supportcloud migration and infrastructure modernizationinitiatives
  

• Monitor infrastructure health usingAzure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting tools
  

• Drivecapacity planning, cost optimization, and performance tuning
  
  

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations usingTerraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
  

• Develop scripts usingPowerShell, Bash, or Python
  

• Improve operational efficiency throughstandardization and self-service tooling
  
  

• Implementpatching, hardening, backup, and DRbest practices
  

• Supportsecurity controls, audits, and compliance requirements
  

• Follow enterprisechange, risk, and release managementprocesses
  
  

• Work closely withglobal cloud, network, security, and application teams
  

• Create and maintainSOPs, runbooks, and infrastructure documentation
  

• Act as anAzure infrastructure SMEwithin the GCC
  
  

• Strong experience inInfrastructure / Systems / Cloud Engineeringroles
  

• Handson expertise with:
  

• Windows & Linux servers
  

• Virtualization(VMware / HyperV)
  

• Storage, Backup, and DR solutions
  

• Networking fundamentals(DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, TCP/IP)
  
  

• Strong handson experience withMicrosoft Azure, including:
  

• Azure VMs,VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Storage
  

• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
  

• Azure AD / Entra ID basics
  

• Experience withInfrastructure as Code(Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
  

• Familiarity withITSM tools, monitoring, and alerting platforms
  
  

• Strong troubleshooting androot cause analysisskills
  

• Ability tooperate inglobal,followthesundelivery models
  

• Clear communication and documentation skills
  
  

• Experience working in aGlobal Capability Center (GCC)
  

• Exposure toAzure Landing Zones, enterprise-scale Azure setups
  

• Knowledge ofDevOps / automation-first infrastructure practices
  

• Azure certifications (AZ104, AZ305, etc.)
  

• Experience supportinglarge-scale enterprise platforms
