Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Maintain documentation of support activities and resolutions for future reference.
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new systems and upgrades.
- Educate users on basic IT practices and software usage.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and basic network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are a plus.
