As an OEM Strategy Manager – IMEA, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving regional OEM growth strategies for the additives portfolio across India, Middle East, and Africa. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions that strengthen OEM partnerships, influence global priorities, and accelerate business growth across industrial segments. In this role, you will:
- Execute a regionally aligned OEM strategy, translating global priorities into IMEA-specific growth plans.
- Prioritize and target OEMs based on strategic fit, growth potential, and localization trends.
- Serve as the primary OEM interface for IMEA across regional and global engagements.
- Influence global OEM roadmaps by incorporating IMEA requirements and market dynamics.
- Build and sustain senior-level OEM relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
- Drive specification, approval, and design-in initiatives across OEM platforms.
- Support localization efforts through approvals, sourcing strategies, and validation processes.
- Partner with commercial teams to translate OEM wins into scalable business growth.
- Align cross-functional technical teams to deliver solutions that meet OEM requirements.
- Support OEM validation, testing, and qualification aligned with regional needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, regulatory, and operations teams on execution strategies.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging OEM technologies across IMEA.
- Provide actionable insights to shape global strategy and identify new growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in additives, specialty chemicals, or industrial materials.
- Demonstrated experience engaging OEMs across industrial segments such as automotive, machinery, energy, and construction.
- Proven track record in specification selling, securing platform approvals, and managing long-cycle OEM engagements.
- Experience working across multi-country environments, preferably within IMEA.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to articulate value propositions.
- Ability to operate effectively in matrixed and multicultural environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High adaptability to varying customer sophistication and market conditions.
Preferred Qualifications That Drive You Forward
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced business qualification.
