POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts and expand our institutional partnerships. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, skilled in building long-term relationships, and adept at creating value propositions that resonate with schools, colleges, universities, and corporate clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Sales Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive B2B sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients including schools, colleges, universities, and corporate partners
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the education and corporate training sectors
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with consistent follow-up and relationship management
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitive landscape
Client Relationship Management
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers including principals, academic heads, HR managers, and corporate training heads
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of debate programs
Understand client needs and customize solutions that align with their educational or training objectives
Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients throughout the sales cycle
Partnership Development
Negotiate contracts and close deals with educational institutions and corporate organizations
Collaborate with the program delivery team to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation
Develop strategic partnerships with educational boards, associations, and industry bodies
Represent Indian Debating League at educational conferences, corporate events, and industry forums
Sales Operations & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
Contribute to the development of sales collateral, proposals, and marketing materials
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (MBA preferred)
3-5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the education sector, EdTech, training, or related industries
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
Experience in institutional sales or selling to educational institutions is highly desirable
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi (additional Indian languages are a plus)
Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle complex sales cycles
Proven ability to build relationships with senior-level decision-makers
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
Understanding of the Indian education ecosystem and corporate training landscape
