About the Role
Amity Global School, Noida is seeking a passionate and experienced Chemistry Facilitator to inspire students across the Middle and Senior School. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, an inquiry-driven teaching approach, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences aligned with international curricula.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and concept-based Chemistry lessons for Middle and Senior School students.
- Plan, prepare, and implement lesson plans aligned with the IB (MYP/DP), Cambridge (CAIE), or both curricula.
- Foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving through practical laboratory experiences and project-based learning.
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and well-organized laboratory environment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and promote academic excellence.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Mentor students in internal assessments, extended investigations, science exhibitions, and Olympiads where applicable.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities and curriculum enhancements.
- Participate actively in school events, parent interactions, faculty meetings, and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from a recognized university (mandatory).
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- IB (MYP/DP) and/or Cambridge (CAIE) curriculum training/certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
- Experience teaching Middle and Senior School Chemistry.
- Strong laboratory management and practical teaching skills.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
